SYSTEM ARCHITECT–GRADE JOB Founding Systems Architect — Conversational AI latform (Greek Voice)
We are developing a voice-based conversational AI platform in Greek for real-world business applications.
The project is currently in an early development phase, building a self-funded Proof of Concept (PoC) to validate the core architecture before full MVP development and external funding.
We are seeking a senior engineer capable of architecting and implementing the foundational system, not just contributing code.
This is a remote-first freelance engagement starting with a paid PoC, with the potential to evolve into a long-term technical leadership role if the project progresses.
Architectural Scope
The selected collaborator will contribute to:
Overall system architecture design
Backend infrastructure and service structure
Integration of voice, LLM, and telephony components
Data flow, reliability, and scalability considerations
Technology selection and trade-offs
Core implementation of critical components
High-Level Technology Areas
Python (FastAPI / Flask) or Node.js (Express)
Voice APIs (Twilio or similar)
LLM / Speech APIs
Database systems (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
RESTful services and integrations
Specific technical decisions remain flexible at this stage.
Ideal Profile
Senior software engineer or system architect experience
Experience designing production systems end-to-end
Strong API integration background
Familiarity with async / event-driven architectures
Comfortable working with evolving specifications
Fluent or native Greek
Portfolio, GitHub, or demonstrable past work
Able to operate with high autonomy
Prior startup or early-stage experience is a strong plus.
